Oatmeal helps lower cholesterol and is high in fiber, low in fat and packs in vitamins A, B, calcium and iron. And all that soluble fiber means that oatmeal keeps you feeling full longer, which makes it a good morning option. But no one says a slow-cooked pot at breakfast is the only way to eat oats.
